Welcome to an evening of Mediterranean sunshine

You are warmly invited to an evening of fine food, fine wine and fine company. Our host is Sarah Jane Evans, Master of Wine. Following her most enjoyable Spanish evening last year, she will be leading us through a favourite selection of Greek wine. And ‘don’t worry, there’s no Retsina’ she says. Instead, she stresses, ‘come and discover Greece; it’s producing some of the most exciting and enjoyable wines in Europe’. Joining Sarah Jane will be Mary Pateras, owner of Eclectic Wines, the leading importer of Greek wine into the UK, who has made this tasting possible. Mary is full of stories about the wines, the varieties, the producers.

Sarah Jane has booked the downstairs private room at Vinoteca, round the corner from Farringdon station. After the wine tasting, we will be enjoying a menu of canapes and bowl food with wine. The room takes just 30 people, so be sure to book early.
